Keyanta Tyrone Bullard was born on February 12, 1998, in East Chicago, Indiana, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida with his family while still very young. He grew up in a crowded household with his mother and 11 brothers, often facing poverty and unstable living conditions. His father was incarcerated during much of his childhood, and his uncle—who acted as a father figure—died when he was around 14 years old.
Life in Jacksonville exposed him to street crime and hardship from a young age. The family often moved between homes and shelters, making survival a daily challenge under difficult circumstances. By his early teens, he began encountering trouble with the law and spent some time in youth detention programs.
Keyanta Tyrone Bullard, known as Yungeen Ace, began his rap career in 2017 with the group Yungeen Gang, releasing the song “Go To War.” On December 25, 2017, he dropped his first solo single, “No Witness,” which brought him early attention.
In 2018, he released several tracks like “Find Myself,” “All In,” and “Fuck That,” and dropped his debut mixtape Life of Betrayalunder Cinematic Music Group. The mixtape featured YoungBoy Never Broke Again and JayDaYoungan. Later that year, he followed up with Life I'm Livin.
In 2019, his singles “So Long” and “Message” gained millions of streams. On July 1, he teamed up with JayDaYoungan for the mixtape Can't Speak On It, featuring the hit “Opps,” which earned 61 million Spotify streams. In August, he released the EP Chloe, and in November he dropped Step Harder, which entered the Billboard 200 at #81.
In 2020, he featured on King Von’s song “Trust Issues” and released his mixtape Don Dadain June, with singles like “400 Shots,” “I’m the One,” and “Heartbroken,” featuring King Von.
In 2021, Yungeen Ace released the viral diss single “Who I Smoke” with Spinabenz, FastMoney Goon, and Whoppa Wit Da Choppa, sampling Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” The song was certified gold by the RIAA in July 2022. He also released his debut studio album Life of Betrayal 2x, featuring artists like King Von, G Herbo, and YFN Lucci.
In 2022, he teamed up with Kodak Black for the single “B.A.M.” ahead of his second studio album All On Me. He also dropped the tribute single “Rekindle 23” in August, honoring his late friend JayDaYoungan, and released his third album Survivor of the Trenchesin December, featuring SleazyWorld Go, EST Gee, Real Boston Richey, GMK, FastMoney Goon, and Rob49.
