From a young age, he showed competitive spirit. At 13 he was ranked the number-one BMX rider in his age group, competing nationwide and even earning sponsorship from Fort Wayne BMX and Gatorade.
In 2007, Nyzzy co-founded CertiFLYYed Entertainment Group (later Hurricane Music Group) to release his music professionally and support other local talent. His breakout project was the My City collaborative campaign in Fort Wayne, which connected dozens of local artists and earned over 200,000 views. It later became a national movement under the #MyCity banner.
In 2014, his first mixtape Nothing Nyce debuted on the national scene, featuring tracks like “I Just Rather,” “Live It Up,” “Nights Like This,” and “Superstar.” These songs earned attention from media outlets and appeared on TV shows like Get Hard, American Horror Story, St. Vincent, and Being Mary Jane.
