Charles Raymond Ditchley, known professionally as Chucky Workclothes, is a hip hop artist from Indianapolis, Indiana, born on October 5, 1984. He started his music career around 2010 when he created his own label called Express Life Entertainment and released a series titled Express LifeVolumes 1, 2, and 3, which helped him gain recognition in his local community.
In January 2014, Chucky signed with RBC Records for a two-album deal. His first major release under that deal was Country Boy Livin’, a collaboration with Young Bleed, released in June 2014, and supported by a tour with the same name. His solo debut, Tax Season, followed on August 24, 2015 (initially released earlier that year in February), and featured guest appearances from artists such as E40, Pusha T, Kurupt, Young Buck, Young Bleed, and Crooked I.
Following that, Chucky began a multi-part EP series called Professor Works Laboratory. The first volume arrived in December 2015, the second in August 2016, and the third in 2017. These projects featured collaborations with artists like Mr. Envi’, Syke Pachino, Omega, and Tha Homie Jai, offering stories drawn from his everyday experiences and life journey.
In 2018 and 2019, he expanded his discography with collaborative albums Consistency Theory(2018) and Consistency Theory II(2019), both created alongside M7ofatc. Outside of recording and performing, Chucky Workclothes has built a strong presence touring as both headline and support act, sharing stages with artists such as E40, Pusha T, Young Buck, Crooked I, and others. He continues to release music independently through his label and keep close ties to the Indianapolis rap scene.
This journey from launching his own label to collaborating with established artists shows how Chucky Workclothes steadily built his place as an independent and respected voice in hip hop.
