College Career

Shaquille Leonard played college football at South Carolina State University from 2014 through 2017 for the Bulldogs. In his first year (2014) after redshirting, Leonard led the team in total tackles. He made 86 tackles, 14 of which caused loss of yardage. He also had 5 sacks and forced 2 fumbles.

In 2015, he made 70 tackles, with about 13 for loss, along with 5 sacks and 2 interceptions. His performance that year earned him a spot on the First-Team All-MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).
