Guillermo Ochoa was born on July 13, 1985, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He grew up in a middle-class family that ran a bakery, and as a child he helped out at home while playing soccer in his neighborhood. His parents supported his love for the game, and when he was just ten or eleven years old, scouts from Club América noticed his talent and invited him to join their youth academy.
